When the selection committee failed to meet
as recommended candidates fell short of merit marks
as recommended candidates fell short of merit marks
If people whose status is below average acquire positions in Selections Committees of teachers and become vulnerable to pressure from politicians, administration and other kind of influential people one cannot expect a fair play.
The Institutions in Haryana that are run by Educational Societies be it Rohtak, Jind, Rewari, Sonipat, Dadri, Bhiwani, Hisar or elsewhere have often in the news for mis-management of affairs, financial bungling of funds, petty politics and now fallen below standards in recruitment of teachers on contract basis against temporary posts.

Today interview for selection of teachers under SFS Scheme in regular capacity for Asst. Professors was scheduled by the Maharani Kishori Devi PG College, Rohtak that is under the supervision of Addl. Deputy Commissioner in matters of administrative control. Since long the Society is marred with petty politics and other kind of irregular activities. The Institution was not established to promote corruption but education and social values.
It came to be learnt that the whole exercise of selection was cancelled today about 10.30 AM when the nominees of the Vice-Chancellor of Maharshi Dayanand University, the campus of which is across the road from MKD PG College for Women, failed to report and no substitution could come forth. It was further learnt that the two candidates which were the favorite choice of the whosoever had recommended names were not up to the merit in comparison to other applicants' CV. It is amazing. No SMSs were sent on the contact number of candidates that had to come from far and near. Virtually a chaotic situation was created but the management or officials had no regrets for it. Forget about the time wasted and expenditure incurred on reaching the venue of the personal appearance by candidates, which were informed a fortnight ago by registered communication in writing.
Will anyone from the powerful media dare report it?
